If you’ve been toying with the idea of selling your home but aren’t quite ready to go all-in, a pocket listing—also known as an exclusive listing—might be the perfect solution.
At CIR Realty, with over 900 agents across Alberta, our internal network is a powerful tool. A pocket listing means your home isn’t publicly posted on the MLS but is instead marketed exclusively within our brokerage. That’s a lot of eyes on your home—without ever going fully public.
This option is ideal if:

How It Works
Even though your home won’t be on the public market, there’s still a formal agreement in place between you, your CIR agent (me!), and the brokerage. We’ll gather some basic details about your property, including price, features, and preferred timing.
From there, I’ll share your listing:
- Internally with CIR’s network of 900+ agents
- Through targeted messages to agents I know who have buyers looking for a home like yours
- This approach gives you a chance to test your pricing, gain early exposure, and even receive serious inquiries—all while staying in full control of your timeline and asking price.
